The high-tech, free-standing Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is located on the first floor, in suite D.
Surgery at the ASC is less expensive than surgery centers attached to hospitals.
Upon arrival, patients will check in and a nurse will bring them to the pre-op area and assist them with what they need to prepare for surgery and get into bed. The anesthesiologist and surgeon will talk with them while they are in pre-op, where anesthesia will also be administered. After surgery, the patient will recover in the Post Anesthesia Unit.
Once ready for discharge, they will be helped into a wheelchair and rolled to the canopy covered drive thru pickup where their family member or friend will be waiting for them.
The center is equipped to provide surgery in the following specialties:
- Breast Surgery
- Pain Management
